In this article, we will learn how to create data source inventory rules that return relevant products based on the available inventory of items in the cart.
Note: If you're unfamiliar with creating data sources or need a refresher on what data sources are, we recommend reviewing this article before proceeding.
There are currently two different rules that you can utilize.
Each Cart Item's Inventory: Returns products based on the available inventory of every individual item in the cart.
Any Cart Item's Inventory: Returns products based on the available inventory of at least one item in the cart.
These rules is NOT compatible with Product Page widgets, but it works with Cart widgets, post-purchase widgets, and checkout extension widgets.
