There are Smart Cart attributions that may link to your Shopify orders. If you would like to prevent that from happening you can follow this quick and easy steps to disable them!

Smart Cart attributions do not contribute to the calculated Rebuy Generated Revenue. It is simply an attribution that we use for reporting purposes. Widgets are what contribute to the Rebuy Generated Revenue.

Steps to Disable

It is a simple four step process to disable the Smart Cart attributions if you would not like to see them on your orders. You can follow these steps below to disable them.

  1. Login to Rebuy.

  2. Navigate to the Smart Cart you wish to update.

  3. Go to Global Settings.

  4. Toggle off the 'Cart Attribution Tracking' setting.

Please note that attributions are cached. So, when you turn off the 'Cart Attribution Tracking' setting, some of your orders may still show attributions until your customer's browser cache is cleared. This may take some time, especially for frequent buyers.

To confirm that disabling the 'Cart Attribution Tracking' setting worked, you can place a test order using an incognito session. If the setting is disabled correctly, the test order should not have any attributions.

Note: There is a message on the 'info' icon that reads "Cart attributes are used for performance tracking. If disabled, you will lose performance and engagement metrics!" Please be advised, that this will not impact the metrics in the current reporting. The reporting impact is internal for Rebuy only.
