Overview
This functionality aims to motivate customers to purchase more of a product by offering them enticing tiered discounts. As a result, it enhances your average order value and boosts your overall revenue. This feature simplifies the process for merchants to create tiered discounting campaigns tailored to specific products.
Buy More Save More will automatically generate the discounting scripts for Shopify Plus customers who already have access to Shopify Scripts. Non-Shopify Plus customers and/or Plus customers without Shopify scripts, will need to build out automatic discounts to make this work.
Shopify Plus is required to make use of Shopify Scripts but is not required to utilize the Buy More Save More feature. As of February 13, 2023 Shopify announced that Shopify Scripts will be deprecated on August 13, 2024 and they will be moving to functions. They have since removed the Script Editor application from the Shopify app store.
Definitions and Supporting Details
Display Types
Each button type will showcase a specific message for each tier, such as "Buy {{quantity}} save {{discount}}", which will be displayed below the product image. For instance, button messages could include "Buy 2 save 5%", "Buy 5 save 10%", and "Buy 10 Save 15%". These messages are determined based on the discounting tiers configured below.
In addition, dynamic text will appear, indicating the next available tier and the remaining quantity needed to reach it. For example, it might display a message like "Buy 2 more and save 10%".
Discount Language
This is what will display on either the buttons or dynamic text.
Discount Success
This is what will display next to the product when the discount has been applied to the product.
Discount Type
You can choose between a percentage discount, or make it a fixed price discount.
Select products that these discounts will apply toward
You can utilize this feature to search for the products or variants on which you want to apply the BMSM (Buy More, Save More) discounts. Simply enter the name of the product into the search bar and choose the desired one(s) to apply the discount (refer to the screenshot for reference).
You have the option to include a maximum of three tiers for discounting. It is important to note that these tiers must be arranged in ascending order, with the first tier representing the lowest quantity and corresponding discount percentage or fixed amount.

Shopify Plus Buy More Save More Discounting via Scripts
Buy More Save More will automatically generate the discounting scripts for Shopify Plus customers who already have access to Shopify Scripts.
Buy More Save More Discounting via Auto-Discounts
Non-Shopify Plus customers and/or Shopify Plus customers without Shopify scripts, will need to build out automatic discounts to make this work.
Example
In the case of tier 1, the product quantity should be 2, and the discount applied is 10%. For tier 2, the product quantity must exceed the previous tier (3 or greater), and the discount should be higher than the previous tier (6% or greater). The same principle applies to the final tier.
By default, when adding a new tier, whether it is a percentage discount or a fixed price discount, the increments will be set at 5. Additionally, the quantity increments will increase by 1 for each subsequent tier. However, you have the flexibility to adjust these values as desired, as long as they are higher than the values of the previous tier.
