Step-by-Step Installation Guide
Access Integration:
Log into Tapcart, go to 'Integrations', and select 'Rebuy - Automatic Cart GWP'.
Setup:
Input required details like threshold value and select the gift to be offered in the Rebuy Data Source.
Activate:
Save changes and activate the integration to see it reflect on your app.
Advanced Installation:
If you would like to create a custom block instead, you can manually create a custom block and include the HTML, CSS, and Javascript from the GitHub repository here: Rebuy - Automatic Cart GWP Repository. Keep in mind you can still edit the code in these fields via the "Integration" installation as well.
Getting Started
Once you have the Tapcart integration and Rebuy enabled via Tapcart's integration tab, go to the Shopify admin and navigate to Tapcart in the "Sales Channels" section to get started. You may need to add your API key here manually. This can be found under "Settings > API Keys" in the Rebuy Admin.
Adding the Gift with Purchase Block in Cart
Navigate to "Cart" under "App Studio" then click "Integrations" and select the GWP block.
Next, you simply need to drag and drop the GWP block into the cart and add your GWP Data Source ID in the required field. If you haven't created a cart subtotal-based Data Source, do this next!
Finally, you can test the GWP block by "Previewing" the mobile app in Tapcart's editor and matching the conditions such as a cart subtotal rule, specified in the connected Data Source. You should be all set!
FAQ
Can I customize the look and style of the widget in the Rebuy admin?
Unfortunately, there is not a way to change the design of the widget in the Rebuy admin - all changes will be done in Tapcart via the code found in the Integration editor itself.
Keep in mind the GWP block has no visual UI so when using a tool like Tapcart's "Free Shipping Bar," it may be beneficial to educate customers on how they can receive a free gift.
Can I offer more than 1 free gift?
As of now, you can only offer a single free gift based on cart subtotal.
