What Is It?
With If Cart Subtotal From Collection and If Cart Subtotal With Tag, merchants can evaluate the subtotal amount of a customer's cart based on either a specified collection or tag of the items. This allows for greater precision when setting up cart-based offers and recommendations.
How Does It Work?
To set up a rule using the Cart Subtotal from Collection or Cart Subtotal with Tag, follow these steps:
Open the Rule Editor:
In the IF section of your rule, click on Anything to expand the options.
Select Cart Subtotal:
Under Cart Rules, select Cart Subtotal.
Set Comparison:
Choose the comparison operator you want (Is Greater Than, Is Less Than, Is Equal To).
Enter the dollar value to compare against.
Add Condition:
Below the dollar field, click Add Condition.
Select Your Condition:
From the dropdown, choose either From Collection or With Tag:
From Collection: This option examines the subtotal based on items in a specified collection.
With Tag: This option filters the subtotal based on items that have a specific tag.
Choose Collection or Tag:
Once you select either From Collection or With Tag, you'll be prompted to select the appropriate collection or tag from the list.
Save Your Changes:
After selecting your collection or tag, click Save Changes to apply the rule.
Definitions for Each Setting
From Collection: This condition checks whether the line items in the cart belong to the specified collection, and evaluates the subtotal accordingly.
With Tag: This condition filters the line items that have the specified tag associated with them, and evaluates the subtotal for these items.
