Drive Attentive SMS subscribers to a Rebuy Reorder Landing Page with personalized product recommendations and more. Embedding Reorder Landing Page links in text messages drives additional conversions, improves customer retention, and extends customer lifetime value LTV.


Installation Instructions

Prerequisites

Before setting up the integration, ensure you have:

  • An active Attentive account.

  • An active Rebuy account.

  • A Rebuy Reorder Landing Page created. If you created one up yet, follow this guide.

Integration Installation

Step 1: Enable the Integration

  1. Access Rebuy Integrations:

    • Log in to your Rebuy Admin Dashboard.

    • Navigate to the Integrations tab.

    • Select Attentive from the list of integrations.​

  2. Connect Attentive:

    • Click on Connect Attentive.

    • Authenticate your Attentive account by following the prompts.​

  3. Configure Integration Settings:

    • Enter your Terms of Service URL and Privacy Policy URL.

    • Provide the SignupSourceId obtained from your Attentive Customer Success Manager (CSM).​

  4. Save Settings:

    • Click Save to finalize the integration setup.​

Step 2: Create an Attentive Journey

  1. Navigate to Journeys:

    • In your Attentive Admin, go to the Journeys section.

    • Click on Create Journey.​

  2. Start from Scratch:

    • Select Start from Scratch to build a custom journey.​

  3. Choose Trigger:

    • Select Rebuy - Order Placed as the journey trigger.

    • Note: This trigger may soon be available as a Prebuilt Journey for easier setup.​

  4. Design the Journey:

    • Add desired steps and rules to your journey.

    • Consider the nature of your products when setting delays or conditions. For instance, if you sell consumables, you might send a reorder prompt a week after purchase.​

Step 3: Personalize Messages with Dynamic Variables

Enhance your SMS messages by incorporating dynamic variables to personalize content:​

  • Reorder Landing Page Link:

    • Use the {rebuy_reorder_landing_page} variable to insert a direct link to the customer's personalized Reorder Landing Page.​

This personalization increases the likelihood of repeat purchases by directing customers to products they're most likely to reorder.

Step 4: Activate the Journey

  1. Review Your Journey:

    • Ensure all steps, messages, and conditions are correctly set up.​

  2. Enable the Journey:

    • From the journey editor screen, toggle the journey to Active.​

Once activated, customers who meet the journey criteria will receive SMS messages directing them to their personalized Reorder Landing Pages.

How do I obtain the SignupSourceId?

Contact your Attentive Customer Success Manager (CSM) and request the setup of a new Sign-Up Source via the Add Subscribers API. They will provide you with the necessary SignupSourceId.

Can I customize the timing of the SMS messages?

Yes, within the Attentive Journey builder, you can set delays and conditions based on your product's reorder cycle and customer behavior.
