Rebuy Settings Page

The Settings page in the Rebuy admin is the hub for your store's account-level configuration. Open it by clicking Settings at the bottom of the left-hand side navigation in the Rebuy admin. This article explains what each card on the Settings page does and links to the full guide for each one.

The cards you see on the Settings page depend on your Rebuy user role. Five cards are visible to every role, and three are visible only to users with the Admin role.

If you expected to see Manage Team, Billing, or Rebuy Admin Access on your Settings page and the card is not there, your Rebuy user has the Staff or Staff + PII role rather than the Admin role. Ask a user with the Admin role on your account to make the change for you, or to update your role. For what each role can do, see Role Management of User Accounts.

The Manage Team card on the Settings page is where you invite people to your Rebuy account, remove them, and change their roles. It also holds the two-factor authentication requirement for your store and, for Shopify Plus stores, your Merchant Success Manager contact. Only users with the Admin role can see this card.

The API Keys card on the Settings page lists the Rebuy API keys created for your store and lets you create new ones or delete existing ones. You need an API key to call the Rebuy API from an external system or integration.

The App Settings card on the Settings page holds your store's app-level preferences, including your time zone, whether Rebuy JS and jQuery load on your storefront, which icon set and carousel your widgets use, and API keys for Klaviyo and Campaign Monitor.

The Billing card on the Settings page takes you to your store's billing details, where you can see your current plan and packages, your next billing date, and your invoice history. Only users with the Admin role can see this card.

The Image Gallery card on the Settings page is the central library for images you use elsewhere in Rebuy. Upload an image once and select it from any Rebuy feature that accepts a gallery image, instead of hosting the file yourself and pasting a URL.

The Status card on the Settings page shows how your store's data compares between Shopify and Rebuy, and gives you the controls to resync that data and clear Rebuy's caches. Start here when something in Rebuy does not match what you see in Shopify.

The Themes card on the Settings page opens the Rebuy theme editor, where you set the colors, button styles, logo, and custom CSS that Rebuy applies across your widgets, Smart Cart, and landing pages. Your Rebuy theme is separate from your Shopify theme and does not change it.

The Rebuy Admin Access card on the Settings page controls whether Rebuy support staff can access your shop. Opening it shows the Superadmin Access Control panel, where a user with the Admin role can turn the Allow Rebuy Admin Access toggle on or off. Only users with the Admin role can see this card.

The Settings page is the last item in the left-hand side navigation of the Rebuy admin, below Store Data. Clicking it opens the page of Settings cards described in this article.

The Billing card is only shown to users with the Admin role. If your Rebuy user has the Staff or Staff + PII role, the card is hidden and you cannot open the billing page. Ask a user with the Admin role on your account to view billing, or to change your role on the Manage Team page.

The Manage Team card is only shown to users with the Admin role. Users with the Staff or Staff + PII role cannot see the card or open the Manage Team page. Ask a user with the Admin role on your account to invite, remove, or re-role team members for you.

No. The settings on the Rebuy Settings page apply to your Rebuy account and the Rebuy features on your storefront. They do not change your Shopify store settings or your Shopify theme. The one setting that writes to Shopify is Install Rebuy Script Tag and Disable Rebuy JS on the App Settings page, which adds or removes a script tag on your published Shopify theme.
