Adding Custom HTML to Your Smart Cart
A Smart Cart Custom Code Block is a Smart Cart component that renders HTML you write directly inside your cart layout, so you can add elements the cart editor does not offer, such as trust badges, a shipping notice, or a promotional banner.
To add custom HTML to your Smart Cart, follow these simple steps:
Start by Accessing the Dashboard: Open your web browser and navigate to the Rebuy Engine dashboard by typing in the following URL: https://rebuyengine.com/dashboard.
Access the Smart Cart: On the dashboard, locate and click on the 'Smart Cart' option.
Select the Smart Cart to Edit: You will see a list of your Smart Carts. Click on the specific Smart Cart you wish to edit.
Add a New Component: In the editing mode of your selected Smart Cart, find and click on the 'add component' button.
Choose the Custom Code Block Component: A list of components will appear. Scroll through and click on the 'Custom Code Block' option.
Enter Your HTML Code: A text box will appear. This is where you can enter your HTML code. Type or paste your code into this box.
Position Your Custom Code Block: After entering your code, go back to the editor. Here, you can drag and drop the custom code block to the location where you want it to be displayed on your Smart Cart.
Save Your Changes: Once you're satisfied with the placement of your custom code block, click on the 'Save' button to apply the changes.
Confirm Your Changes: A confirmation dialog box will appear. Click on 'Yes' to confirm and finalize your changes.
