Installation Instructions
To start using the Yotpo and Rebuy integration, the initial step is to establish a connection between the two platforms. This process enables Rebuy to access the necessary authorization to retrieve review data for display on your website.
First log into Rebuy and head over to the integrations tab.
Find the Yotpo integration and click "Learn More."
Click "Connect Yotpo"
From there, you will be redirected to Yotpo and will need to login to continue with the next steps. If you are already logged into Yotpo, you will just need to approve Rebuy to gain access to your Yotpo account.
Once you have successfully connected the two apps, you will see a success message within the Rebuy admin confirming that we are now connected with Yotpo and you are ready to move onto the next step.
Verifying Synchronization
Once the connection between Yotpo and Rebuy has been established, the next step is to ensure that the two platforms are synchronized before proceeding with adding the feature to your widgets.
Navigate to the account page and click "Status."
Once you are there. Scroll down to the section that is called "Yotpo Webhooks." in this section you will want to see a message that says "Yotpo says you have 2 webhook(s).
This indicates that the integration is pulling two specific pieces of information necessary for displaying the reviews: one for newly created reviews and one for updated reviews.
In case you notice that your reviews are not displaying properly on the widgets or if your webhooks are not showing that you have 2, you can visit the same page and use the "Resync" button located in both the "Yotpo Webhooks" and "Yotpo Reviews" sections. These buttons will initiate a manual refresh of the connection between Rebuy and Yotpo, allowing for any changes or updates to be properly reflected in your widgets.
Adding Yotpo to Widgets
After activating the integration between Yotpo and your website, you have the option to showcase Yotpo reviews on any widget you create.
The setting to enable reviews can be accessed by navigating to the "Integrations" section within the widget settings. To get there, navigate to the widget you wish to enable it on, select Yotpo reviews and save.
