What is Opinew?
Opinew is a Shopify-first product review app that enables merchants to collect and display customer star ratings, photo reviews, and UGC in just minutes. With easy setup (about 15 minutes), responsive widgets, and a lightweight design, it ensures your reviews look great across all devices without impacting site speed.
Integration Overview
The Opinew + Rebuy integration connects Opinew’s review content with Rebuy’s personalized product recommendation widgets. Once enabled, star ratings from Opinew automatically display within Rebuy upsells, cross-sells, bundles, and other recommendation formats—enhancing trust and potential conversions while maintaining fast load times.
Installation Instructions
Prerequisite
Ensure Opinew is fully installed and configured in your Shopify store (see Opinew’s help center for setup instructions).
Integration Installation
Enable Integration in Rebuy
Navigate to Rebuy Admin → Integrations.
Locate Opinew and toggle the integration ON.
Add Opinew Stars to Widgets
Go to Widgets in Rebuy.
Create a new widget or edit an existing one.
Inside the widget editor, navigate to Integrations, enable Opinew Reviews, and click Save.
Your widgets will now display Opinew star ratings.
Customize Star Appearance (Optional)
In Rebuy Admin, visit Dashboard → Manage Rebuy Theme.
Under Product Reviews, select the color that matches your brand style.
Click Save to apply styling changes.
Any product with reviews will now have the star rating displayed on your Rebuy widgets.
