Use this article to get review star ratings showing on the product cards across your collection pages: connect a review provider, turn its star ratings on, and style how the stars look. To set it up, go to Smart Collections → Template & Settings in your Rebuy admin, open the Collection Template Editor, then select Product Reviews under General Settings in the editor's left navigation. The page opens with the subtitle Select your product review app(s) and customize the display of the star ratings to match your brand. What the Product Reviews page contains
The page is organized into four cards: Integrations, a shortcut out to your full Rebuy integrations list; Connected In Rebuy, the review apps you have already set up; Not Connected, the supported apps you have not set up yet; and Styling, which controls how the stars look. Each is covered below.
Turn on star ratings for a review app you already use
To display star ratings from a provider you have already connected, use the Connected In Rebuy card. It lists every supported review app already configured in your Rebuy account, and each one has a toggle that turns its star rating display on or off across your collection pages.
Every provider toggle is off by default, so star ratings do not appear on your collection pages until you explicitly turn one on.
Each connected provider also has a Manage link that opens that provider's integration settings in a new tab, so you can adjust the integration without losing your place in the editor.
If you have no review providers connected at all, this card shows an info alert reading Connect a provider to display ratings with a Connect button that opens the Rebuy Integrations page in a new tab.
Connect a review app that isn't set up yet
To use a review app you have not set up yet, use the Not Connected card. It lists the supported review apps Smart Collections can work with that are not yet configured in your Rebuy account. Apps here have no toggle, because an integration that is not connected cannot be enabled from the editor.
Each app has a Connect link that opens that provider's integration setup page in a new tab. Once you finish setup, the provider moves to the Connected In Rebuy card the next time you load the Product Reviews page, where you can toggle it on.
How to display review star ratings on your collection pages
Go to Smart Collections → Template & Settings in your Rebuy admin and open the Collection Template Editor.
Select Product Reviews under General Settings in the editor's left navigation.
If the provider you want is listed under Connected In Rebuy, toggle it on. Star ratings then appear on product cards across every collection page.
If the provider you want is listed under Not Connected, click Connect beside it, complete the setup in the new tab, then return to the Product Reviews page. The provider now appears under Connected In Rebuy, where you can toggle it on.
Click Save in the editor.

Star ratings only display for products that have at least one review recorded in the connected review app. A product with no reviews shows no star rating even when the integration toggle is on.
Style the star ratings
The Styling card controls how star ratings appear on your product cards. A live five-star preview sits beside the Size control and updates in real time as you change the size and colors, so you can judge the result without leaving the editor.
The card has four controls:

Size | The display size of the stars. Three presets: Small (12px), Default (16px), and Large (20px). Default is selected out of the box. |
Product Reviews Text | The color of the review text shown alongside the stars, including the review count. |
Star Color | The color of the filled stars. |
Background | The color of the empty star area that shows behind partially filled stars. |
Product Reviews Text, Star Color, and Background each inherit your Rebuy theme colour. Click RESET TO THEME at the bottom of the card to return them to your theme.

Supported review apps
Smart Collections can display star ratings from these nine review apps:
A review app that is not on this list cannot display star ratings on Smart Collections product cards, even if it is installed on your Shopify store.
Frequently asked questions
Why aren't product star ratings showing on my Smart Collections pages?
Work through these four checks in order:
You have a supported review app. Smart Collections supports nine: Judge.me, Junip, Klaviyo, Loox, Okendo, Opinew, Reviews.io, Stamped, and Yotpo.
The app is connected in Rebuy. Check the main Rebuy Integrations page.
The provider is toggled on in the editor. Go to Smart Collections → Template & Settings, open the Collection Template Editor, select Product Reviews under General Settings, find the provider under Connected In Rebuy, and toggle it on. Every toggle is off by default, so this is the step most often missed. The Product Reviews page was previously labeled Integrations.
The product actually has reviews. Star ratings only display for products with at least one review recorded in the connected app.
Re-sync your data and clear the cache in Rebuy by following Sync Product Data, Store Data, and Clear Cache. This forces Rebuy to pull the latest data from your store and review app.

How do I change the star rating color and size in Smart Collections?
Go to Smart Collections → Template & Settings, open the Collection Template Editor, select Product Reviews under General Settings, and use the Styling card. Star Color sets the colour of the filled stars, Size sets their display size using three presets — Small at 12px, Default at 16px, and Large at 20px — Product Reviews Text sets the colour of the review text beside the stars, and Background sets the colour of the empty star area behind partially filled stars. A live five-star preview in the card updates as you change them, so you can confirm the result before saving.
Why is a review app I use missing from the Smart Collections Product Reviews page?
Smart Collections supports nine review apps: Judge.me, Junip, Klaviyo, Loox, Okendo, Opinew, Reviews.io, Stamped, and Yotpo. An app outside those nine does not appear on the Product Reviews page in either the Connected In Rebuy or the Not Connected card, and cannot display star ratings on Smart Collections product cards. If your app is one of the nine but still does not appear, check that it is set up on the main Rebuy Integrations page — the page sorts providers into those two cards based on your actual Rebuy account configuration.
Does Smart Collections show the full text of product reviews?
No, Smart Collections does not show the full text of product reviews. Product cards display only the star rating and the review count pulled from your connected review app. Shoppers see how a product is rated and how many reviews it has, but not the written review content. To read the reviews themselves, shoppers open the product page, where your review app displays the full text.
Can shoppers sort a Smart Collections page by rating?
Yes. The Highest Rating and Lowest Rating sort options on the Sort By page rank products by their average review rating. Both need an active review integration, because the rating data comes from your connected review app. Enable the sort option on the Sort By page and connect a provider on the Product Reviews page.
